I am as opposed to discrimination in the workplace as the next person. More of us have experienced some form of discrimination than haven’t, I expect. And it hurts like hell.

However, the attached article from the Guardian the-knowledge-transfoer-problem.doc describes a lawsuit that ignores the implicit understanding that every American or British person who goes to work for a Continental European Financial Institution should accept. Part, if not all, of the point of a Continental Bank’s employment of historically non-socialist personnel is the awareness that they need to educate their native bankers about how to cope in a capitalist banking environment.
